The beautiful yellow canary sits upon a tree
One day the canary decides to fly away
With the flapping of his wings
He looses more and more grace and starts to shiver in the warm sun that shows his truth
All the years of sitting upon the tree and watching as the days turned to night and night to day
All the time flaunting to the sun of his color yellow and filling his heart with the poison of ego
There is no flight without soul and heart
A bunch of feathers scattered along the meadow

How beautiful the flight of the yellow canary. You are that beautiful yellow canary with so much heart, so much soul, so much light that soars through, above, and beyond the skies of enlightenment to bring us into the light. Thanks for sharing, writing, and painting such vivid images that move me in so many ways. How naked and beautiful your truth. How naked and beautiful your being. Thank you Bahareh for letting me soar through the skies with you and through you.

I have to let you know that this is one of my favorite poems…. I am not sure, it might be the color, or it might be the simplicity, or it might be the powerful message that was brought forth through the simplicity.
I know you are familiar with one of my early poems that is currently up on the poetry sample page “The Angel Who Lost his Wings”…. some how the Yellow canary reminds me of that poem, but in reverse no flight even with a body full of wings and full of flight with a body of no wings but heart full of light and flight.
Thank you… i hope you tell me what you think of the post i put up today…. with the picture of the empty chairs… at an “important” meeting. Bahareh
