5 LIFE LESSONS
Look inside for your mirror…….From the moment we are born we are given and we are held from hand to hand and in the bosom of a few. As we grow up as a child our peers become our identity.
As we go on to school, our grades show us our worth. As we grow up, our business cards dictate who we are, and our bank accounts our place in society.
If ONLY, the moment of the first breath, there was a mirror held up to my face, i would have realized that it is my breath, my cry that impacts the mirror and the world around me.
Now well into my forties…. I have found a mirror in my core…. sometimes i take it out to look with in. Try it, it is a beautiful sight, I assure you, just remember to be kind to the person in the mirror you see.
Find a ROCK to sit on……. I remember looking high and low, in mountains and in seas for a place to BE. Finally after becoming more familiar with myself I learned that there are times that i just need to sit.
I call that place my ROCK. I carry my rock with me at all times. Sometimes i sit by a river that flows, sometimes i sit by a swamp full of no life. Sometimes i sit by an orphanage and i count my blessings as a child and as an adult that can bring love into the home of children with no arms around them. The Rock can be a pebble on the beach, and the Rock can be a mountain i lean upon.
Bring positive energy to life, do not expect life to give you everything…….. For me life is a bit like going to the fanciest buffet lunch at the fanciest restaurant at the fanciest five star hotel. Grant it, we all take a plate…. first of all we have the option to take a small salad plate or a large dinner plate. Then we have the choice of looking around at all our options before we start or just starting with the white bread rolls and ending with the butter. You do know that the pearls and caviars are always kept at the end. So, I say we bring out positive outlook onto life, it is ALL there, all we have to do is to open our eyes and see and then take according to our needs. The world is giving us ALL it can, it is our duty to take what we want.
Look into people’s eyes because that is the file cabinet that contains all their being……..Have you ever been speaking with someone and noticed that they are looking at your hands, perhaps your watch, your telephone, your shoes or the file you carry with you.
Well it is my belief that a person’s life is held in their eyes. Look people in the eyes, you are giving yourself the worth you deserve and you are taking from them All that they have worth giving.
Treat others as you would want to be treated……This might sound like the golden rule, and indeed it might be the golden rule. But for me treating someone the way I would like to be treated, is not just keeping the door open when someone is behind me, or saying thank you to the person serving me lunch or dinner or the melodies of life. For me, this means looking at a person as a person with feelings. No matter if it is the person driving a Mazarati or the person washing the car. People’s feelings are a bit like cob webs a spider spends centuries to unweb from its core…. the web can connect us all or it can destroy the connections made by love and light.

So, Bahareh, your destiny had began: I knew that you would go for cosmic glory. And yet, for you, the best is to come, Well done! Keep in touch…Pascal

Dear Dear Pascal,
Like a familiar voice in the crowd. Like a great call when in the depth of the well of not knowing. I needed your words today and i heard and felt your being. Thank you for your belief…. How did you know, how do you know…. I accept this beautiful morning dew on this dark night. Thank you Pascal.

The National Newspaper Magazine!!!
I am so excited to see your beautiful light shining in your words and face all across the white page of this magazine. My dearest Bahareh, there are no words that can describe my joy and happiness in seeing you in print. I knew this would be your destiny. I knew we could all bask in your light once you put it out in plain sight. Thanks for the life lessons. I have taken them to heart and will do justice to your words by following your example. WOW.

Thank you dear friend, yes, indeed it is an honor to be in print… if you go to the in the news page you will see the link for the full article…. the only flaw is that on the first life lesson, I had said look at your self you will see a beautiful sight, and not when i see myself…. anyhow, the message was clear.
I have basked in so many lights, i hope i remain a student of light for ever and ever. Merci

Thank you, I am so glad to know you read it on that day…. It will be easy to keep up with this kind of encouraging words from you. By the way,you know on the last sentence where it says, in the article, I take it (the mirror) out and look in it, it is a beautiful sight… It is supposed to say, or my words were…. Take out your mirror and look in it, I assure you it is a beautiful sight. A detail that to me makes a big difference in the message… but after all it is nice for us all to see our own beauty because it is only then that we can PRAISE.

Thank you, you are very kind. At THIS MOMENT, the answer that comes to me is one of my favorite quotes from one of my masters, may I share it with you….
“Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves, like locked rooms and like books that are now written in a very foreign tongue. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps you will then gradually, without noticing it, live along some distant day into the answer.”
― Rainer Maria Rilke
Some times I just remind myself to breath in and breath out… as another one of my teachers by the name “Secret” taught me.
Look to see if there is an ant below where you walk and then listen to the waterfall that is in the middle of the desert. Enjoy BEING
