"The Carousel of Life" forty tales through poetry and art
“The Carousel of Life” forty tales through poetry and art

Where does one begin, does the carousel have a start or finish?

Is there a place one actually gets onto this carousel of life?

All my life I have been asking questions, seemingly with no answers. Now, I am sharing some of my stories with you. These stories come in the form of a book called “The Carousel of Life” forty tales through poetry and art.

I have had the great honor of sharing this space with 40 great artists who have collaborated with me on this project. Their colors and strokes have given flight to my words. How do I begin to thank each and every one.

You will find each person’s name listed below as they appear in the book. The 40 artists come from 22 different nationalities…. some old and the youngest is 5 years old. The art is another dimension of what I could never say in words. The incredible thing is that only a handful of the art was done with the poetry in mind, the others existed on their own, and they simply joined the words on the carousel to make the journey more complete.

In this book you can find themes of peace and war, love and heartache, birth and death, childhood and old age all described with a refreshing wise yet healing perspective. In this book you can find some answers, but more importantly it raises critical questions, which we must pose to ourselves on life’s journey.

Some parts of the book will surprise you and some will please you and perhaps even make you happy, angry or sad. Please please know that I am here, and  I would love to hear about your reactions to the words that have come simply from my ride on this carousel of life. You can contact me at connect@bahareh.com or leave a comment here for me.

Thanks to the artists noted below, names appear in order that the art appears in the book. I hope we meet again and again as more light is being shed on my journey to me. With deep gratitude to each and everyone. Bahareh

    Dearest Bahareh
Congratulations on the launch of your new book! It has been an honour and a pleasure to be one of the artists to collaborate with you on this project. It is my wish that “Lotus” complements your wonderful poetry in a way that gives further flight to your words.
Wishing you much success with “The Carousel of Life”
